The first WERQ® class launched in January 2010 in Chicago, IL. Named one of the hottest workouts in the United States (SELF Magazine, April 2012), one of IDEA Fitness Journal’s “hottest dance-fitness trends of 2013” (May 2013) and a “cool new class” by Health Magazine (March 2014). Owner, Haley Stone, is on a mission to put the world to WERQ®.
Haley Stone is the creator and owner of the WERQ Fitness brand. With a background in hip hop, sports, group fitness, and personal training, Stone exudes positive power and passion to create an energetic buzz in her group fitness classes. Her career in fitness began in 2004 as a Group Fitness Instructor at the University of Missouri, where she attended college. Upon moving to Chicago, Haley took on leadership roles in boutique and large gyms, managing over 140 group fitness classes per week. Stone is a Fitness Writer, Entrepreneur, and creative force behind the choreography in WERQ Dance Fitness classes. Stone, along with WERQ, has been featured in IDEA Fitness Journal, Health Magazine, and SELF Magazine. Currently, Haley is a National Presenter and Lead Choreographer for WERQ, Master Trainer for Schwinn Fitness, and Brand Ambassador for Rykä.
